Court Docket Report

Ways to get help while you work:

  • Handy Tool Tips
    for each field on every screen. When you hover in a particular field, Geni gives you hints about the information that should appear in the field; in addition, if more than one answer is available, Geni displays all of the possible entries for quick reference and selection.
  • Quick-Pick Lists
    are generated from integrated data contained in the setup, case management and accounting features of the program to make data selection quicker and learning how to use Geni faster.
  • Help Screens
    are available by pressing the Help button on the Taskbar at each level of the program or Ctrl+H on pop-up screens so each user can “learn as you go.”
The Court Docket Report is a quick and easy way to view and print all court appointments or isolate the list by case type or court. A Court Docket prints automatically every morning showing all court appointments for the week, or the Court Docket can be printed on-demand for any time period.

Click CASEWORK > COURT DOCKET to access the Court Docket Report from anywhere in the Geni Law program.

Immediately upon pressing the tab, the Print Court Docket print overlay screen appears.

Make the following selections to generate a report:

Start Date Enter the desired Start Date
Stop Date Enter the desired Stop Date
Division Code A quick-pick list appears; select a specific DIV or ALL
Rep Code A quick-pick list appears; select a specific REP or ALL
Case Type A quick-pick list appears; select a specific Case Type or ALL (this is helpful to isolate a certain case type)
Status Quick-pick lists appear in each of the three Status Code boxes for ease of selection
Court Code A quick-pick list appears; select a specific Court or ALL (this is helpful if you want to see All cases involving a certain Court)
Related Party Prefix: a quick-pick list appears to select a type; e.g., PA. Tab over to the Code and select the Related Party name from the quick-pick list
Alerts List Format This is asking to print only cases with a court docket entry; enter “Y”es or “N”o
Active “A”ctive, “I”nactive or “B”oth; default is “A”ctive
Order of Printing Select from the following:
“A”ction Date
“R”elated Party
“C”ase Type

Select print to “S”creen or “P”rinter; default is Printer.

Enter the number of copies.

Click Print for the print results or press Escape to return to the previous screen.
