Related Party Analysis Report

Ways to get help while you work:

  • Handy Tool Tips
    for each field on every screen. When you hover in a particular field, Geni gives you hints about the information that should appear in the field; in addition, if more than one answer is available, Geni displays all of the possible entries for quick reference and selection.
  • Quick-Pick Lists
    are generated from integrated data contained in the setup, case management and accounting features of the program to make data selection quicker and learning how to use Geni faster.
  • Help Screens
    are available by pressing the Help button on the Taskbar at each level of the program or Ctrl+H on pop-up screens so each user can “learn as you go.”

The Related Party Analysis Report is a useful tool to help you keep your related parties current. Attorneys retire, move out of state, and in some cases are appointed as judges and trustees. Under these circumstances it is important to keep the Related Party Information Database up to date, and using the Related Party Analysis Report is a simple way to identify records that need to be revised or deleted.

Click on CASEWORK > RELATED PARTY ANALYSIS on the main Taskbar from anywhere in the Geni Law program:

Immediately upon clicking the tab, the print overlay screen appears:

Please make the following selections:

Date type to use: (A)ction, Status (D)ate, (F)iled with Court Date, (O)riginal Date, and (W)IP date; default is (O)riginal Date

DATE: START – enter the desired start date; default is current date

DATE: STOP – enter the desired stop date; default is current date

DIV: Enter the DIV code; default is ALL

REP: Enter the REP code; default is ALL

CASE TYPE: Enter the Case Type; default is ALL

STATUS: Enter the desired Primary, Secondary and Collections status codes; default for each is ALL

SKIP: a quick-pick list appears for ease of selection; default is None

REL PARTY: the cursor lands in the empty box and immediately a quick-pick list appears for ease of selecting a Related Party Type Code from the following list: AT-Attorney, ER-Employer, IN-Insurance Company, MP-Medical Practitioner, PA-Prosecuting Attorney, RR-Referrer, TP-The Opposing Party, TR-Trustee. Default is ALL if no selection is entered.

Upon making a selection, the cursor immediately jumps to the next field. A quick-pick list appears for ease of selecting from all of the names that correlate to the Related Party Type Code. Leave this field blank and all of the related party records will print related to Related Party Type Code selected. Default is ALL.

COURT: a quick-pick list appears for ease of selection; default is ALL.

Order of Printing: a tool-tip provides the following selections: A=Action Date, C=Client Code, D=Status Code Date, F=Filed with Court Date, O=Original Date, S=Status Code, T=Type of Case, W=WIP Date; default is W

Active: Enter (A)ctive, (I)nactive or (B)oth; default is Active.

Print to: select to print to “S”creen or “P”rinter; default is Printer.

Enter number of desired copies

Press Print for print results or ESC to return to the previous screen.
