WIP Analysis Report

Ways to get help while you work:

  • Handy Tool Tips
    for each field on every screen. When you hover in a particular field, Geni gives you hints about the information that should appear in the field; in addition, if more than one answer is available, Geni displays all of the possible entries for quick reference and selection.
  • Quick-Pick Lists
    are generated from integrated data contained in the setup, case management and accounting features of the program to make data selection quicker and learning how to use Geni faster.
  • Help Screens
    are available by pressing the Help button on the Taskbar at each level of the program or Ctrl+H on pop-up screens so each user can “learn as you go.”

This report provides vital analysis of clients that signed a retainer agreement and made a first payment to the firm. On the main Taskbar, click MANAGEMENT > REPORTS > PERFORMANCE REPORTS > WIP ANALYSIS REPORT:

Please make the following selections:

Enter desired Date Type to use: “A”ction date, Status Code “D”ate, “F”iled with court date, “M”erged WIP and non-WIP, “O”riginal date, or “W”IP date; default is “M”

Enter desired Start and End dates; default for both is current date

Select Division: a quick-pick list appears for ease of selection; default is ALL

Select Rep: a quick-pick list appears for ease of selection; default is ALL

Select WIP By (the name of the Rep): a quick-pick list appears for ease of selection; default is ALL

Select Case Type: a quick-pick list appears for ease of selection; default is ALL

Select Status: a quick-pick list appears for ease of selection for Primary, Secondary and Collection status codes; default for each is ALL

Select Print Order: “A”ction date, “C”lient Code, Status Code “D”ate, “S”tatus Code, “F”iled with court date, “O”riginal date, “W”IP (retained) date, or “T”ype of Case; default is “T”ype of Case

Enter “A”ctive clients, “I”nactive or “B”oth; default is “B”oth

Select print to “S”creen or “P”rinter; default is “P”rinter

Enter number of copies

Press Print for report results or ESC to return to the previous screen
